May 1, 2026 was an historic day for the firearms industry. Newly confirmed ATF Director Marvin Cekada and the ATF team announced 34 Repealed, Modernized, Reduced Burden, Clarification and Alignment proposed regulations. This is the most comprehensive change of regulations in the ATF history.
As soon as they are published in the Federal Register, you will have 30 days to comment on these regulations. You may be happy with all of them, some of them, or none of them so your comments during this time are critical to your future in the industry for the foreseeable future.
